About

After 4 decades in the service industry, I created Mister Window Cleaner to provide a luxury service to homes in Dundee. Window cleaning has existed since windows were invented, and will continue to exist until AI takes over, which is not going to happen in the foreseeable future.

The purpose  of Mister Window Cleaner is to provide one simple convenience service to ordinary people like you and I, at a price that makes sense, with the best possible result within that price, and an aim to be the best.

There are 3 reasons why ordinary people buy window cleaning services: Quality, Convenience and Reliability.

To clean as many windows as possible in the shortest time span possible to maximise profit may be the objective to some. Mister Window Cleaner doesn’t really fit into that category. To find the best possible balance between results for the customer, developing the business and at the same time having a life, that’s where he belongs.

Window cleaning was never rocket science, it is merely heavy, hard work and resillience – the perfect conditions for creating physical endurance, happy customers and a smile at the end of the day. Snow, wind, rain – only extreme conditions and equipment breakdowns are exceptions to meeting up and face the challanege.

As for the convenience, this is all about you, what is important to you and what’s not. To some it matters, others it doesn’t. In fact, some do their own cleaning. However, having read this far at least suggests it matters to some degree to you.

What matters to me is quality, reliability, simplicity, common sense, progress, and security.

Kind regards,

Mister Window Cleaner

Soap

Does the “Before” picture look familiar to you?

Soap running down your window sill is something you will not experience with water fed pole systems.

Dripping soap dries as dirt. As with the thin, invisible layer on the glass itself, it dries lightly sticky and attracts even more dirt. There is no way to make windows stay clean forever. However, purified water is a degreaser and traffic film remover in its own right and gives your windows a longer lasting shine.

Spider webs

Getting rid of spider web around the windows, frames and vents is the norm when cleaning with water fed pole systems.

Bird Droppings

In most cases, weather will make them fade and eventually vanish. Some properties are of course more exposed than others, but I don’t know anyone who actually likes them.

When cleaning frames and sills regularly, at least one knows when they will disappear.

It is important to mention that one of the points of using water fed pole is to avoid the risk that comes with climbing (ladders etc.) to property, humans and even pets. Window sills on higher floors can in some cases be difficult to see from standong on ground level. In those cases, cleaning will be attempted, but the result may vary somewhat.
